Techtrack performs successful fixed asset reconciliation for one of the world’s largest internet giants at its North American and European headquarters’
Vancouver, BC – February 11, 2010 – Techtrack Solutions Inc., specializing in asset management, asset tracking software and asset life cycle best practices, wraps up 2009 with a strong performance in two financial compliance projects. A prominent Internet MegaCorp partnered with Techtrack Solutions to handle their IT asset management (ITAM) fixed asset reconciliation in North America and also to address the increasing ITAM needs at their European headquarters. The final result of the fixed asset reconciliation provided the company with the assurance that they implemented the financial controls necessary to increase investor confidence, delivered appropriate corporate governance including SOX compliance and saved them from 1.5 to 5 Million in tax dollars.

This three-week project resulted in 190 Thousand in tax write-offs and the potential for significant savings from reduced licensing costs, fewer lease overruns, and fewer IT staff devoted to patch management.
